Fleur de Lis Academy’s Encore Performing Arts Center offers superior dance instruction in a nurturing environment to encourage grace, poise, pride and a love of dance. Our principal dance instructors are mature, professionally trained, loving, creative and accomplished in their genres of dance. We believe that superior dance training occurs when dancers learn in a professional environment, according to the timeless traditions of a formal, classical ballet syllabus, but with creative and imaginative music, imagery, and props.

Our ballet program begins with our Storybook Ballet classes and continues through several levels of ballet training including pointe, lyrical, contemporary and variations. We offer the same quality programs in the dance genres of Mommy & Me, modern, jazz, tap, Broadway, hip-hop and adult. Additionally our Spring and Summer program offers families special themed weekly classes and fun CAMP sessions beginning in June through September. Beginner and advanced students enjoy our private lessons to improve their technique and confidence in their dance training development.

Fleur de Lis Academy is the only American Academy of Ballet Affiliate in Fairfield County. We are proud to share this exclusive opportunity with our community through a comprehensive syllabus, concentrated dance-class requirements, and the prestigious Performance Awards presented by the honorable judges of the AAB.

The Academy offers over 100 professional classes, workshops and special events with fewer weekly class commitments so our students can enjoy other fine arts, after-school activities, and their academic responsibilities!
